Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh,
North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a theatre
actor as well as writer and director) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her
mother and is an actress. There are two older brothers, Dana Wood, a singer, as
well as Ira David Wood IV, who also has acted. Evan and her brothers frequently
appeared at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father was the founder of the
theater and serves as its director of operations. After a long and drawn-out audition
process at the age of five, she was old when she had the opportunity to
screen-test with Kirsten Dunst. Along with her mom and brother Ira the family
moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since her arrival, she has had successes in TV

daughter, in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler (2008). Sara Wood and Ira David
Wood III are her parents. Ira David Wood III's younger sister. She has been
trained in dance. She is a singer, loves to do horseback riding, and
rollerblade. She is the black belt for tae Kwon-Do. Keeps in touch with a
majority of her Once and Again (1999) co-stars: Mischa Barton, Julia Whelan and
Shane West.
