Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut, she's shown her ability to perform on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. First noticed in 2005 for the character of Anna, as seen as part of Assault on Precinct 13 Her first recognition came from her part in the biographical documentary All the Way. Hind was also acknowledged for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is set to be released in mid-2019. The father Krishnaraj was employed as an Army scientist before his death on March 18, 2017. Her mother Vrinda lives at home. She has an older brother Aditya Rai, who is an engineer for the Merchant Navy. His brother wrote and produced the movie Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was the high school she attended located in Mumbai following her move to the city along with her parents. She finished her secondary education in Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% for her H.S.C. exams. The time she spent in adolescence was filled with studying ballet and music for 5 years. Her favorite subject was Zoology. Bachchan was an undergraduate student in architecture when in 1994 she was chosen Miss World. The title helped her rise onto the front of modeling. She received lucrative positions in PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine in addition to a spokesmodel contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. In 1997, she starred in two celebrated role: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films that challenged Bollywood's fundamental model of organization. Bachchan was cemented as the New Queen of Bollywood following her performance of the role in Devdas 2002, which was one of the most acclaimed Bollywood film. It also was the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. In that same year she was also the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared as Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Her beauty and her fame are then combined in her first English film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star, who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most influential personalities in one place.
